CARESTEER
Privacy
CARESTEER is a personality-type test for Indian students aged 14–18. This note says what we keep, who sees it, and how a family can ask us to remove it. It is not a clinical record and not a lawyer’s 20-page policy.
What we collect
Your name, age, class, school name, login email, optional pronouns, and any parent or school emails you add. Under 18, a parent email is required. We also store test answers, scores, the occupation list on your report, and the emailed report.
Report Chat
If a family uses Report Chat, we also store those questions and answers. A student login and a parent magic link can both send questions. OpenAI may word answers from a packet built from the locked report. The chat is not a clinical record.
Who we email
After payment, the report goes to you and to any parent or school addresses you gave us. We email. We do not call. We do not sell this list.
Who else sees the data
The CARESTEER admin team can open a report to check it. Hosting and mail run on Neon (database), Vercel (the website), Razorpay (payment), Resend (email), and optionally OpenAI (report wording). Google Tag Manager loads on the public pages and can pass the page address to measurement tags such as Google Analytics. The page address placed on the data layer omits query strings such as a password-reset link. These tags do not receive test answers.
How long we keep it
We keep an account until CARESTEER deletes it. The test is suggestive guidance about personality types, not a diagnosis, aptitude score, or admission prediction.
Export or delete
There is no student self-serve delete button. To export or delete a student’s data, a parent should reach support. Support messages, any files sent with them, and report ratings are kept with the account and are visible to CARESTEER admin. Files are not public and are not emailed back.
